Happy holidays, everyone!
Tomorrow, my solo show, Cul-de-Sac, opens at the Triton Museum.
One of the last things I did last year before the holidays was to rent a U-Haul truck and haul 40 paintings from my studio near downtown San Jose over to Santa' Clara’s Triton Museum. I had panicky visions of the van skidding off an overpass or getting T-boned by a Tesla while transporting over five years’ worth of work. If you’ve seen the 1950s French thriller Wages of Fear, that was more or less my mood on the drive over. Thankfully, the trip was largely disaster-free.
This week, the talented crew at Triton put up my work in the Cowell Room Gallery, an octagonal space located to the left of the main entrance. It looks amazing, if I do say so myself.
There will be a reception for the show on Saturday, January 24, from 2-4 pm. I’ll be there. Stop by and say hi.
