I was very happy and surprised to learn that my painting “Tea Time” won first prize in the oil painting category at the 2025 Greater Bay Area Open Art show at the New Museum in Los Gatos. This was very unexpected — I didn’t even really know that they were even offering prizes, and there are a lot of great works at the exhibit. The show runs until October 5.
